ITA: Un percorso freestyle a basso impatto nella ski-area Carosello 3000
Il concetto è partito dalla California e leggenda vuole che a ispirarlo sia stato proprio il mitico Jake Burton. In pochi anni i più grandi resort americani se ne sono dotati e ultimamente l'idea ha travalicato l'oceano arrivando nelle stazioni sciistiche europee, tanto che anche la ski-area Carosello 3000 di Livigno ha apprezzato l'idea e ha deciso di implementare il progetto. Stiamo parlando del Woodpark, un percorso freestyle un poco nascosto all'interno del bosco dove divertirsi con sci e snowboard al di fuori del panorama di piste a volte affollate e dei salti spesso impegnativi dei grandi snowpark. Nove strutture molto jibbing costruite utilizzando esclusivamente il legno e la neve (spalata a mano senza ausilio di gatti!). Il tutto immerso tra i larici e collegato da sentieri e passaggi nascosti. Per un'esperienza fuori dai tracciati comuni, non vi resta che provare. Il Woodpark e la sua mascotte, il boscaiolo Jack, si trovano al di sotto della stazione intermedia della cabinovia Carosello 3000 di S.Rocco (impianto n°11), a fianco alla pista Zuelli e naturalmente...nel bosco!

The concept was born in United States, California and a legend says it was indeed inspired by Jake Burton himself. What's sure is the fact that majors ski-resort in US had already installed it. And since few years the idea has crossed the ocean arriving in Europe and also Carosello 3000 - Livigno has decided to share this project with its guests. We are talking about the Woodpark, an hidded freestyle trail placed into the wood where skiers and snowborder can get amused out of the usual and often crowd slopes panorama, and even out the challenging huge jumps of the wide snowparks. Nine jibbing structures built only with wood and snow (shoveled by hand and without any snowcat aid!). All of it surrounded by trees and connected by trails and hidden passages. Now you need just to get in and try this offroad experience. You can meet the Woodpark and its mascotte, Jack the woodman, just below the middle-station of the gondola Carosello 3000 in S.Rocco (lift number 11), beside the slope Zuelli and naturally...into the wood!

ITA: Sciare partendo dalle nuvole. A Livigno tre settimane di Eliski, ma anche di voli panoramici in elicottero sopra il Piccolo Tibet.
A partire da domenica 10 febbraio e fino a sabato 3 marzo l'offerta turistica del Piccolo Tibet si arricchisce di un'entusiasmante iniziativa che ha come protagonista il volo in elicottero. Due le offerte proposte:
1. Voli panoramici sopra Livigno e le principali vette del circondario. L'imbarco potrà avvenire presso i ristori in alta quota Carosello 3000 o Mottolino con la possibilità d'atterraggio sul versante opposto. 2. Eliski con discese freeride mozzafiato nelle valli più incontaminate del comprensorio. Le discese, due o tre a seconda del pacchetto scelto, saranno svolte in compagnia delle Guide Alpine di Livigno e avranno come stazione d'imbarco il Ristoro Carosello 3000. ENG: Ski starting from the clouds. In Livigno 3 weeks of Heliski and panoramic flights in helicopter over the valley.
From Sunday 10th of February until Saturday 3rd of March, the Livigno's touristic offer will be enriched with some exciting initiatives both from the Helicopter.
Here the proposals:
1. Scenic flights over Livigno and the main peaks of the valley. Boarding areas have been set up at the high altitude catering points Carosello 3000 and Mottolino. There is the possibility of landing on the opposite side. Number of passengers: max 6. Approximate duration: 8-10 min Prices from € 75,00 per person
2.Heliskiing with breathtaking freeride in the best pristine valleys of the area. The descents, with two or three runs depending on the package, will be accompained by the Alpine Guides of Livigno. The boarding area will be at the catering point Carosello 3000 and the equipment (avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe) will be furnished by the organisation. Number of passenger: up to 8. On Wednesday 6th of February 2013 new edition for the historical torchlight descent to the center of Livigno starting from the Refuge Costaccia (2360 mt) together with the ski master of the School Azzurra. Here the program: • h. 4.30 pm Meeting at the Chalet Costaccia for Spaghetti and drink • h. 6 pm: Start of the torchlight descent with arrival at Tagliede Restaurant (Livigno Centro) and exibition of the old handcraft with music, dancing and hot-win around the bonfire. Gli scorsi novembre e dicembre avevamo lanciato un sondaggio in rete dove si chiedeva a tutta la nostra clientela un'opinione su diversi aspetti della ski-area Carosello 3000. L'iniziativa ha portato a dei risultati davvero interessanti sia a livello numerico (1023 sondaggi interamente compilati!) che a livello di feed-back, con molti consigli e suggerimenti che ci saranno preziosissimi per poter migliorare i nostri servizi in futuro.
Al fine di incentivare la compilazione e per ringraziare gli utenti della compilazione dei form, sono stati messi in palio a estrazione tra tutti i partecipanti: 1 tavola da snowboard NITRO, 1 mascherina SPY, 3 cene per 2 persone presso il ristorante Stalet e 3 voli in parapendio sopra Livigno. L'estrazione è avvenuta oggi (domenica 19 gennaio) utilizzando come "dea bendata" gli sciatori che si trovano a passare all'esterno del Ristoro Carosello 3000. On the last November and December, Carosello 3000 launched a web-servey where we asked our customers some opinions on different aspects of the ski-area. The initiative has led to some very interesting results both in participation (1023 surveys fully completed!) and in quality of the feed-backs, with lots of very important tips and suggestions that we will take in high consideration on the future improoving of our serivice.
1 Nitro snowboard, 1 snow-google SPY, 3 dinners for two people and 3 paragliding flight over Livigno were the prizes in a lucky draw among all the participants. The names of the winner has been extracted today (Sunday, January 19th) by the skiers passing in front of the Catering Point Carosello 3000. The winners will receive an email as notification in the coming days. Thanks to all of you!
